Constantine I, 307/310-337. Follis (Bronze, 19 mm, 3.14 g, 12 h), Rome, circa 320. CONST-ANTINVS AVG Helmeted and cuirassed bust of Constantine I to right, the helmet decorated with two stars. Rev. VOT / XV / FEL / XX / R Q in five lines within wreath. RIIC 214. Very rare and with attractive earthen highlights on dark patina. Faint cleaning scratches, otherwise, very fine.

Ten examples are known with Constantine I wearing a D7 type helmet paired with this reverse, five from officina Q, of which this is the only example in private hands.
